Varner Team

I finally got the team hooked up to the wagon. I love the way these Varner horses look with the wagon, although they may look small, in real life they are about the right size. With the new mane and tail they really look real. I'm so glad they are done at last. Don't you love the cat on the driver's bench. lol

And so another project is complete.

And then there were Two

I finished the mane and tail on the second Gypsy Varner horse so now there are two to make up the team that will pull the Gypsy wagon. While smaller horses they are incredible strong and are used primarily by the gypsy. The Harnesses are made by the same man who created the harnesses for my larger horses to pull the sleigh. He does a wonderful job and is very reasonably priced. I am so glad to have this set for my Gypsy wagon, as it lends that air of what's right. Let me know what you think? I'll be putting them with the wagon soon.

Window Dressing

One window is now filled with a lovely white lace wedding gown, on a mannequin. It didn't take to long to finish once I got started, and the white lace carries the theme of the bridal shop. So what do you think?

A bride for the shop

I finished a bride that is standing in  front of the 3/way mirror admiring the dress she has tried on. I think it's a hit. Is she going to buy it? Does she say yes to the dress? What do you think?

Gypsy Varner horses

This is one down and one to go. Replacing the mane and tail is a bit of work but I wouldn't have it any other way. These seem to be made up of a very rubber like content, and they are heavier then the Brayer horses. This makes it a bit more difficult to remove the molded mane and tail. I use a Dermal tool as that is quicker and easier for me, but you have to watch the end closely as it can bounce on you and then you get a really bad cut. After I get the other one finished they will be pulling the Gypsy wagon. I've got another job for the gray's. Don't you love the mane and tail?

The White Lace Bridal

I have finally gotten back to work on a room I started some time ago{ think years here}, and have the room part finished. There are a lot of things I need to make or add to finish it, but for the most part you can at least see what it will look like.
This is my "White Lace Bridal" shop. One of the features inside the shop are the two "see through" walls, made from 2-way mirrors. When the chandelier is lit on the inside of the room you can look through the wall and see what is happening there. The outside color is called champagne and is a pearlized tan color not the yellow that it looks. {That's a trick of the lighting above} The trimmings are white so of course, I had to name it 'white lace'. I think the outside of the shop looks very wedding like as does the inside. All it needs is a for rent sign. lol.
Let me know what you think?
